Telesales Executive

Telesales Executive x2 - Derby - £28,000

Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a leading provider of business supplies and services, is currently seekingtwo experienced and driven Telesales Executivesto join their busy Derby based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for sales professionals who thrive in a fast paced, customer focused environment and enjoy building long term client relationships.

As one of the UK's largest suppliers to both the public and private sectors, our client offers a diverse range of products and services tailored to meet the needs of modern workplaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 350 established customer accounts
  • Proactively develop new business through outbound calling, social media, and networking
  • Upsell and cross sell the company's wide range of products and services
  • Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships
  • Ensure all sales activities and interactions are accurately recorded in the CRM system
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years' experience in a telesales, sales, or customer service role
  • Confident, professional communicator with excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Resilient and target driven, with a proactive attitude
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Able to thrive in a busy sales environment and handle rejection professionally

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a similar industry
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Experience using a CRM system

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 17:15 (1 hour lunch break)
  • 37.5 hours per week

Salary & Benefits:

  • £25,000 basic salary
  • £3,000+ OTE commission
