A leading telecommunications organisation based in Dublin is currently seeking an experienced Telecoms Programme Manager for a long-term daily rate contract opportunity.
This role will be responsible for leading a high-profile network transformation and service deployment programme, coordinating multiple technical workstreams and ensuring the successful delivery of critical communications infrastructure. You will work closely with project teams, technical specialists, suppliers, and senior stakeholders to drive delivery from design through to operational readiness.
The role is based in Dublin with hybrid working.
What you will be doing in the role:- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex telecoms and network infrastructure programme.
- Oversee the rollout of connectivity, transmission, WAN, voice, and associated technology solutions across multiple sites.
- Coordinate technical teams, suppliers, and project managers to ensure programme objectives are achieved.
- Develop and maintain programme plans, delivery milestones, budgets, and reporting frameworks.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change controls across the programme.
- Ensure all governance, compliance, and documentation requirements are met.
- Drive the transition from implementation into operational service, ensuring appropriate support models and processes are established.
- Provide regular updates and strategic guidance to senior stakeholders and programme sponsors.
- Ensure delivery is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Extensive experience delivering large-scale programmes within the Telecommunications industry.
- Proven track record leading network infrastructure, connectivity, voice, or communications-related transformation programmes.
- Strong knowledge of telecoms networks, WAN technologies, transmission environments, and voice services.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex programmes with significant technical and operational dependencies.
- Strong programme governance, planning, financial management, and risk management experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at senior leadership level.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing large, multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ability to operate effectively within fast-paced and highly regulated environments.
