Job Description
Overview

You will be joining a global API Manufacturing Operations department. As the Technology Transfer Manager, you will be the key leader of multiple teams, overseeing the transition of complex processes into high-quality finished goods and ensuring appropriate talent selection. This role ensures the implementation of strategies that align with long-term business objectives and global corporate goals. Your focus will be on driving successful technical transfers, implementing long-term manufacturing strategies, and leveraging innovative tools like computational modeling and AI to ensure "right first time" execution and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple high-level teams to execute technology transfer projects across the organization.
  • Oversee the transition of complex processes into high-quality finished goods, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with long-term business objectives and global corporate goals.
  • Apply computational modeling and AI tools to support predictive manufacturing and process optimization.
  • Ensure right-first-time execution in transfers and provide technical leadership across R&D and manufacturing interfaces.
Qualifications
  • Essential Requirements:
    • Minimum 10+ years of professional experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
    • Core technical expertise in manufacturing engineering principles, practices, and process development and validation.
    • Hands-on experience in leading and managing multiple high-level teams, fostering collaboration, and effective delegation.
    • Scientific/technical knowledge in process validation, data science applications, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Preferred Requirements:
    • Extensive management experience in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
    • Advanced technical skills in computational modeling and the application of AI/Machine Learning tools for predictive manufacturing.
    • Exposure to R&D Tax credit identification and Global Validation standards.
    • Industry or domain exposure in Small Molecule manufacturing and Global Technical Transfer of new products.
    • Soft skills including strong leadership, innovative problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse global teams and stakeholders.
    • PhD degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
