Technology M&A Delivery Lead (Associate, Contract)

Tasks

Run the technology and data side of live acquisitions, from planning through to completion. The work usually includes:

• Getting acquired businesses ready for day one and for steady running afterwards.
• Bringing systems and data together and deciding what to keep, replace or retire.
• Planning and running data migration and testing before go live.
• Keeping the plan, risks, actions and dependencies current and under control.
• Managing suppliers and internal teams so the work stays on track.
• Giving clear progress updates to the integration lead and senior stakeholders.
• This is a practical delivery role. You stay close to the detail rather than only setting direction.

Requirements

What we look for:

• Real experience delivering the technology and data parts of acquisitions.
• A track record across systems integration, application rationalisation and data migration.
• Confidence managing plans, risks and suppliers, and reporting to senior people.
• Enough technical judgement to challenge plans and spot problems early, without needing to be the solution architect.
• Happy to work on client sites in and around London, with some remote working.
• Working through your own limited company, outside IR35, and available for at least six months.
