Job Description

British Heart Foundation (BHF) is seeking a talented Technology Delivery Manager to join our Technology Marketing, Fundraising and Engagement Portfolio and help us support everyone have a healthier heart for longer, by supporting research, innovation, and people affected by heart and circulatory disease.

In this role you'll coordinate with stakeholders, oversee the delivery of new product features on our CMS (Sitecore), manage capacity plans, and drive sprint planning to achieve BHF's strategic goals. You'll also play a key role in reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement within the team.

As part of our Technology department you'll play an integral role for BHF, helping to deliver our overall organisational strategy, which is to support research and innovation and to help people affected by heart and circulatory disease.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you'll have:

  • An understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with applied knowledge of frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Previous project management experience and a thorough understanding of various project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and Lean techniques.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to effectively convey project status, risks, and goals to clients and executives.
  • Knowledge of development processes, DevOps, or cloud technologies.

Able to handle blockers and adjust plans when needed, you'll be able to translate user requirements into technical solutions, balance multiple priorities, manage ambiguity, and deliver results on time and within budget.

You'll also have strong stakeholder management experience, matched by previous experience of working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Working arrangements

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

Interview process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a short one-way video interview, successful candidates will then be invited to attend an interview via MS Teams, w/c 6th October, followed by an in-person interview which may include a presentation, held w/c 14th October.
