Technician 3

Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 3 Mobile.

Job Overview:We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Mobile IT Support Engineer to provide on-site floorwalking support. This role involves direct interaction with end users to resolve hardware and peripheral issues, ensuring seamless Workstation functionality across the organisation.

• Location: Trinity Road - Halifax
• Working Hours: 08:00am to 4:30pm
• Contract Duration: 27-Nov-25 till 12-Dec-25
• Daily Rate: A per hour rate, in-scope IR35, of
  £19.38/hr PAYE OR £25.15/hr (via a Hays approved umbrella company)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform floorwalking duties to assist users with technical issues at their desks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to:
• Monitor configurations and display issues
• Dual screen setup
• Docking station connectivity and functionality
• Provide hands-on support and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain a log of resolved issues and user feedback.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth deployment and support operations.
• Communicate updates and instructions clearly to users.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.
• Strong knowledge of hardware peripherals including monitors, docking stations, and display setups.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• This is a mobile role, so a driving licence is mandatory.
