Technical Writer(All Genders)

At Paessler, we make software. In addition to our network monitoring software PRTG, we are developing completely new solutions in the area of Cloud and Operational Technologies. We are looking for you to join our Technical Documentation Team, which is part of our software development. Writing is your passion: you like to dive deep into new topics and bring them to the point. If you also love computers, networks and everything to do with IT, then you've come to the right place.

YOUR TASKS

• You create and maintain texts both directly in our software and in our user manuals as well as in our public knowledge base
• You take care of the companywide internal communication of current topics of the Documentation Team
• You support other teams in proofreading various texts
• You bring in your ideas on the usage of AI tools for technical documentation and optimize our methods and tooling

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a background in IT and/or the software industry
• You have an excellent command of written and spoken English and use it confidently in both editorial texts and technical documentation
• You are a passionate communicator of knowledge and bring facts to the point in an understandable way
• You are quick to grasp new subject areas and do not shy away from complicated topics and new tasks
• You have already worked with markup languages
• You are familiar with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, GitLab
