Your Position Our Technical Trainers are outstanding ambassadors of Vanderlande and exceed at bridging the learning gap for maintenance engineers. As Technical Trainer you are responsible for the design, development and delivery of technical training. For both our customers and our Vanderlande employees. Our technical trainers are experts at embracing innovation and mastering technology. We are passionate about improving others and representing our products, team and organisation. Your Department As part of Vanderlande's Technology Innovation & Enabling Technologies, the Content Development and Training team supports the professional development of our Life-Cycle Services. We are the global competence centre for delivering high-quality training and documentation to our internal teams, customers, and site-based service teams worldwide. We are dedicated to deliver an optimal knowledge transfer to our customers and Vanderlande employees to understand how to build systems, how systems work, and how they can be safely operated and maintained. Responsibilities 
- Deliver engaging technical training courses for Airport Baggage Handling and Distribution/Parcel Automation solutions.
- Develop, update, and revise training materials, integrating digital tools and interactive learning methods.
- Proactively monitor knowledge levels within Customer Service Centres and support with targeted training interventions.
- Collaborate with Technology, engineering, and project teams to ensure training content is current and relevant to the latest technologies in Airports and Distribution.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve programs based on feedback and evolving business needs.
- Work independently to design and present training courses, ensuring alignment with Vanderlande's guidelines and customer learning goals.
- Advise internal and external stakeholders on technical training needs and best practices.
- Higher technical education (HTS, PTH, or equivalent), preferably in IT, electrical, or electronic engineering.
- 3-5 years' experience in automated industrial systems, ideally in a service environment.
- Experience with training and digitalization (e-learning, AR/VR, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Field experience with computer programs and diagnostic tools.
- Fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
- Results-oriented, analytical, and confident.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 35% of the time.
