We are currently looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join a high-impact team supporting innovative industrial water treatment technologies. This hybrid role offers a dynamic mix of hands-on problem-solving, customer support, and collaboration with technical sales and R&D teams across Europe and Africa.


What you'll be doing as a Technical Support Specialist:

  • Serve as a first-line technical contact for troubleshooting issues with automated monitoring and control systems.
  • Provide live support to field representatives regarding electro-mechanical systems and standard product configurations.
  • Diagnose and solve equipment issues involving network connectivity, sensors, and control logic.
  • Use tools such as SAP and internal ticketing systems to manage support cases and track technical resolutions.
  • Advise on pricing, parts availability, and warranty conditions for proprietary industrial products.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product marketing, and R&D teams to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to process improvements and team success by supporting goals, metrics, and internal initiatives.


What you need to be successful as a Technical Support Specialist:

  • Strong communication skills in German or French, with a good level of English.
  • 2-5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical troubleshooting; experience with connected/automated systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service or technical support within an industrial or engineering context.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC systems and data analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proactive attitude, team player, and structured problem-solver who enjoys helping others.
