Position Title: Technical Superintendent

Location: Ningbo, China (Zhejiang Xinle Shipbuilding Yard) ON-SITE

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Job:

For our Client, a Switzerland-based shipping and logistics company, specialized in innovative, efficient, and sustainable maritime logistics solutions worldwide, we are currently seeking a Technical Superintendent to join their team at the shipyard in Ningbo, China (Zhejiang Xinle Shipbuilding). This role plays a key part in overseeing the construction of the new vessels, ensuring all technical standards and project timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise newbuilding projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and international regulations
• Coordinate with shipyard personnel, classification societies, and internal stakeholders
• Monitor construction progress, quality, and technical documentation
• Conduct inspections
• Provide technical reports and recommendations to management

Requirements:

• Minimum 7-8 years of experience in newbuilding supervision
• Strong knowledge of shipbuilding processes, materials, and international standards
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to be based in Ningbo, China for the duration of the projects
