Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Technical Skills Coach Plumbing to join our Apprenticeship Department at the Slough & Langley College campus on a full time, permanent basis. The role pays from £41,096 (L34) up to £44,165.00 (L37)dependenton experience and qualifications.
Technical Skills Coach in Plumbing
We are looking for a proactive and organisedindividualtosupportand mentor a caseload of Plumbing apprentices across our Slough and Langley campus.In this rewarding role, you will coach learners to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours, helping them succeed in the workplace and achieve their end point assessments.
You will work closely with both apprentices and employers, carrying out regular progress reviews and using digital tools such as e portfolios and Microsoft Teams to track development and ensure compliance with funding and audit requirements.
Ideally, you will hold a Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and Heating, along with an Assessor Award (CAVA/A1) or be willing to work towards one. Gas qualifications (such as CCN1 and CENWAT) are desirable but not essential, as this role focuses primarily on face-to-face plumbing delivery. Experience supporting apprentices in a training or education environment is highly valued, and a teaching qualification would be a distinct advantage.
