Technical Account Manager - International Sales, Limburg

B2B Industrial Sales, Fluent in English


Our customer, an international manufacturer, headquartered in Japan, develops and supplies a wide variety of products, such as electronic devices, to worldwide leading companies in the automotive, consumer electronics, electric components and semiconductor market.


Their International Sales Team, based at the European headquarters in Limburg, the Netherlands, is currently seeking a Technical Account Manager for the European market.


During the onboarding, you will go through a training program with the opportunity to visit their productions in Asia and Europe. For their customer-specific solutions, you will work closely together with the internal engineers.


Job description:


Within the account management, you will be expected to:


  • Maintain strong communication and a good relationship with new and existing customers to secure on-going business and expansion
  • Analyse customers for potential new business: identification, screening and qualification
  • Listen to customer's needs; develop new concepts/products and anticipate internally and externally necessary actions
  • Drive processes from a possible client to a customer/partner status
  • Run sales processes from business opportunity to contract
  • Define budget info and control and monitor sales/profit situations of key accounts
  • Analyse, advise and inform customers to keep optimal commercial cooperation
  • Get market information
  • Keep close contact with related functions in the company (e.g. sales engineers, engineers and strategic purchasing) and related companies worldwide
  • Visit exhibitions or forums, key accounts and potential key accounts


Requirements:


  • Bachelor in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. Or in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Alternatively, Bachelor in International Business or similar with technical sales experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in driving a sales process in B2B (preferred).
  • Fluent in English; German, French, Dutch, Japanese or another modern language is a plus.
  • Familiarity with components.
  • Knowledge of Automotive market is advantageous.
  • Strong communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Result-oriented, decisive and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to build confidence and trust and identify key business issues.
  • Customer focused and able to establish long term win-win business agreements and relationships.
  • Team player as well as able to work independently.
  • Flexible, analytical and organized.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Preferably living in Limburg or surroundings.
  • Holding a work visa in the Netherlands.
