Accountability and Responsibilities
- Grow industry revenues within top industry account portfolios and acquire large new accounts ($60K - $500K).
- Lead sales strategies, including customer targeting, prospecting, follow-up, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Proactively identify opportunities and present innovative solutions to retain and grow business relationships with top accounts.
The Role
- Source and prospect new clients through sales calls, including cold calls, and follow-up on leads and referrals to increase sales in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers within existing accounts, establishing Wajax as a trusted advisor.
- Review and provide input on target client opportunities, ensuring alignment with overall account strategy.
- Forecast, deliver, and adjust account plans to meet contract objectives.
- Coordinate with product experts to identify expansion and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Follow up with customers on orders, quotes, and services; analyze competitor offerings to overcome objections.
- Develop proposals and quotes based on client needs and product specifications.
- Ensure full compliance with Impact sales process and CRM tools (Salesforce).
The Candidate
- Education: Bachelor's degree or college diploma preferred.
- Work Experience: Minimum 4 years in account management and sales with proven success.
- Knowledge: Industrial parts such as Bearings, Power Transmission, Hydraulics (asset).
- Proficiency: Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
