Technical Recruiter

Salary: £60k-£75k + Equity

Company Description: - Series B AI marketplace backed by a16z and Y Combinator

Location: London, UK

Job Description

You will own end to end technical hiring for Fleek's Engineering and Product teams in London. Reporting to the Head of Talent, you'll move beyond simple seat filling to architect hiring frameworks, calibrate with leadership, and integrate AI into workflows. This role is pivotal in scaling the team fixing the world's broken secondhand supply chain.

Why this role is remarkable
  • Join a hyper growth startup that has raised $50M from top tier investors like a16z, Y Combinator, and HV Capital while tripling in size year on year.
  • Direct impact on sustainability by building the team that has already saved 9 million garments from landfills through AI driven secondhand commerce.
  • High autonomy environment where you help design the talent architecture, from interview structures to AI native sourcing playbooks, at a critical post Series B stage.
What you will do
  • Drive full cycle recruitment for Engineering and Product roles, managing everything from initial role design and sourcing to final offer negotiations.
  • Partner deeply with technical leaders to define hiring bars, challenge vague briefs, and build structured, data driven candidate evaluation scorecards.
  • Pioneer the use of AI tools within the recruiting stack to automate sourcing, personalise outreach, and improve the efficiency of the talent function.
The ideal candidate
  • 3+ years of in house technical recruiting experience in a fast paced startup or scale up environment with a proven ability to close competitive roles.
  • Expert level sourcing skills with a track record of finding high calibre talent in markets where the employer brand is still being established.
  • Technically literate and curious, capable of distinguishing between various engineering specialisations and holding credible, high level discovery calls with senior technical candidates.
