Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, the largest non-metropolitan Fire and Rescue Service in England, is on the lookout for a Technical Project Manager to join our Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) team at our Service Headquarters in Exeter. This position is available on a fixed term contract until 31 December 2029, working full-time (37 hours per week) and offers a competitive salary of £48,226-£51,536 (gross) per annum.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading on the delivery of our Emergency Services Network (ESN) project to agreed time, cost and quality standards.
- Managing project governance, reporting risk, and financial control.
- Influencing key stakeholders and Project Boards
- Coordinating internal teams and third-party suppliers
- Ensuring solutions align with organisational strategy and statutory obligations
- Overseeing communications and change management to support successful transition into business as usual.
This is a role requiring strong leadership, technical insight, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

How to apply:

- Excellent working knowledge of project management methodologies e.g. Prince 2 and qualified to Prince 2 Practitioner/Professional level.
