About the role

Podlings and The Podcast Studio are hiring a reliable, tech savvy Technical Operator / Remote Producer to support video and audio podcasts for schools and business clients. You'll run remote sessions, keep quality high and keep people calm on mic.

What you'll do

• Operate live and recorded remote sessions (Zoom, Riverside, SquadCast or similar)
• Monitor audio and video quality in real time
• Troubleshoot connection and recording issues quickly
• Manage file transfers, backups and initial post production checks
• Liaise with teachers, pupils and business clients to ensure smooth recordings

What we're looking for

• DBS checked (essential for school work)
• Experience with podcast or broadcast tools
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills - able to reassure adults and children on mic
• Ability to work freelance on flexible schedules during school hours and some evenings

Nice to have

• Basic video editing in Premiere, Final Cut or similar
• Experience adding captions or translated subtitles for inclusivity
• Confidence working with schools or young people
