TECHNICAL OFFICER VOIDS

Cardiff Council aims to provide a high quality, accessible service. There is currently a vacancy for a Voids Technical Officer within the Housing and Communities Landlord Services.

About the job

To assist with the delivery and development of the Voids Team. With emphasis on being proactive and innovative ways to ensure re-let times for void properties are kept to a minimum. Also ensuring excellent customer service is maintained.

What We Are Looking For From You

You will have experience of working within a housing environment and able to identify issues and repairs within a property. You have the ability of using new technology and experience of developing new successful practices and procedures

Experience of working with customers, contractors and external providers and have the ability to use own innovative.

You will need to have good communication and customer care skills and will be able to deal with any issues in a positive and constructive manner. You should also have the ability to work as part of a team and be able to follow complex procedures.
