Technical Manager - Robotics & Automation Solutions

JBAndrews is proud to be working with an innovative and expanding robotics solutions provider, recognized for delivering cutting-edge industrial automation technologies across manufacturing environments. As part of its continued growth across the EMEA region, the company is seeking a Technical Manager to support technical sales efforts and strengthen the capability of its engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-sales technical support, including feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and technical presentations tailored to customer pain points.
- Collaborate with the sales team to collect and analyze customer requirements and deliver optimized robotic solutions that ensure long-term value and performance.
- Lead technical discussions, demonstrations, and high-level customer visits, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business needs.
- Establish and nurture trusted relationships with customer technical stakeholders, supporting proposal development, exhibitions, and technical exchange activities.
- Review technical agreements, support sales strategies, and ensure offered solutions meet performance and commercial targets.
- Mentor and train new members of the technical team, building internal expertise and consistency in delivery.
- Report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor positioning to inform future product development and upgrades.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in technical support or pre-sales engineering roles within automation or robotics industries.
- Proven ability to present and communicate complex technical solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams is advantageous.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
