Our Client is a well-established and successfully growing company who provide total flexible packaging solutions for the Fresh Produce; Fruit and Vegetable industry.
The Company manages all of their Customer's Print & Packaging requirements, specialities include: Premade Bags, PE VFFS film, PP flow wrap film, Lidding film, Conical Sleeves, Crate Liners, Pallet Hoods, Shrink Film, Stretch Film, Modified Atmosphere, Consultation.
Ideal Candidate Profile:- Experience of the supply of flexible films to the food industry
- Experience of the make up of polymer based substrates - LDPE, BOPP, PET and laminates
- Knowledge of: lamination structures, barrier properties and specifications for food packaging.
- An understanding of inks, reprographics and origination process would be considered advantageous
- Educated to degree level in a technical or scientific discipline
- As Technical Manager the successful Candidate will be responsible for: Dealing with suppliers on technical issues including supplier quality issues.
- Participating in research and new product development.
- Dealing with technical queries from production.
- Producing internal technical specifications.
- Customer facing consultative problem solving.
