Your role

As Solution Lead in the Digital domain, you will ensure that the development teams make the right choices technically. You join five agile teams and give direction to the technical solutions they develop.

You guide the teams in setting up new IT products, such as a revamped push notification system and improvements to the tracking platform. You review technical decisions, ensure consistent architecture and monitor the quality of our digital services. You will also be a point of contact for suppliers and coordinate agreements on Software Delivery Performance.

Your team

You will work in the Direct.Online.Arranging.Platform. Team (DORP) within the Digital Consumer domain. This team consists of solution consultants, test automation engineers, a platform owner and developers. Together, you work on digital touchpoints for millions of consumers. The atmosphere is informal, the ambition high, and cooperation is paramount.

Benefits

• Salary between €4.521 and €7.748 gross per month at 37 hours per week (32 hrs is possible too!).
• Scope to work hybrid and arrange your hours flexibly. Do you work two days or more per week from home? Then you will receive an allowance of €45 net per month.
• Engineering laptop, mac or windows to do your work and a smartphone.
• 8% holiday pay and 25 holiday days if you work full-time.
• Travel allowance for commuting.

You're a tech-savvy visionary who is passionate about transforming complex logistical data into simple, intuitive solutions for our customers. You are skilled at navigating both the technical and human elements of software development and have a proven track record of leading teams to success.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Lead Engineer role or a similar leadership position, with at least 10 years of overall experience in IT.
• Expert-level proficiency in developing scalable software with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• A deep, practical understanding of event driven and microservices architectures.
• Strong, hands on knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly its serverless technologies, which are core to our infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring technical teams, helping engineers grow their skills and careers.
