Hybrid working with flexible start and finish times.
Good Technical Project Manager roles are hard to find: stable base, hybrid flexibility, a collaborative team behind you, and work you're genuinely proud of.
This one has all of that, plus high-calibre event project management for global pharma and tech clients across the UK and international stage.
- Hybrid working with flexible start and finish times.
- 28 days holiday, Christmas closure and an annual wellbeing day.
- Income protection covering up to 75% of salary for up to three years.
- Discretionary bonus from six months, plus an above-statutory pension.
- High-profile live events work for globally recognised pharma and tech brands.
Our client is a mid-size AV production agency with more than 40 years in the industry, known for calm, composed delivery for demanding pharma and tech clients. Multiple specialist teams sit under one roof: set design, lighting, content, graphics and digital platforms. The Technical Project Manager sits within a team where people tend to stay once they join, and a leadership team that backs its people is a big reason why.
The RoleAs Technical Project Manager, you will own live, virtual and hybrid events from brief to post-event reconciliation.
- Develop client briefs, produce quotes and manage budgets through to delivery.
- Lead technical delivery on site: set-up, troubleshooting and front-of-house.
- Manage suppliers, venue crews and freelancers across UK and international events.
- Produce schedules, risk assessments, floor plans and technical specifications.
- Act as technical point of contact for non-technical project colleagues.
The right Technical Project Manager will bring solid AV production knowledge and the event project management discipline to run multiple events simultaneously. Client relationships matter as much as technical delivery here.
- Significant AV and live events technical project management experience.
- End-to-end event project management: briefing, quoting, client liaison and delivery.
- Proven ability to juggle competing priorities across multiple projects.
- Experience managing suppliers, freelancers and third-party contractors.
ISO9001:2015 or ISO14001:2015 knowledge is beneficial but not essential, as is a background in risk assessments or technical-spec documentation. Strong organisational skills and a confident approach to event project management are what count most.
In return, this Technical Project Manager role offers a people-first agency, a flexible working model, and a benefits package that genuinely stands out.
