Technical employee

As a technical service technician, you are responsible for monitoring the proper functioning and keeping operational various general (mainly mechanical and electrical) installations, such as water purification, various washing, high-pressure, tilting, defrosting installations, drying and smoke cabinets, etc. You can resolve malfunctions in the mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic and electrical fields, as well as control systems (replacing printed circuit boards). You can identify the need for maintenance or revision work.

You carry out revisions, adjustments and, if necessary, improvements to the above-mentioned equipment. To this end, you can dismantle installations, assess the wear condition of parts, carry out replacements, clean and lubricate, assemble and adjust. Revise parts. Performing workshop operations such as turning and milling (normal tolerances), drilling, tapping, welding, grinding, thread cutting, as well as the usual manual operations are also part of the work.

Job Requirements:

• Several years of work experience in the food industry is an advantage.
• You are willing to participate in the consignment service (for a fee) to resolve malfunctions outside normal working hours.
• You are result and solution oriented, alert to safety, analytical, flexible and you have good communication skills.
• You have experience with job-related administration.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English.

• Base rate €17.05/hour gross + calculated on base hours: holiday allowance 8.33% and holiday days reserve 10.82%
