We seek a candidate who can lead healthcare sector business development and technical delivery, including bid activities and client relationships, emphasizing thought leadership on site decarbonisation, system replacement, MMC/DfMA design solutions, and structural adaptation. The candidate should be self-motivated, capable of delivering high-quality advisory services independently, and support our reputation for technical excellence and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of healthcare sector built environment projects.
• Support and mentor project delivery teams on healthcare projects.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines during bidding and delivery.
• Engage with clients on technical matters.
• Assist senior managers with commercial and contractual project aspects.

As a Director-level engineer, you will handle a range of projects, managing technical advisory commissions, primarily in MEP engineering, and potentially supervising others. Your role includes:

• Managing delivery of technical advisory projects.
• Liaising with engineering disciplines, focusing on health sector projects.
• Managing stakeholders and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Using relevant industry software (e.g., IES, Revit, ADB Codebook, Drofus).
• Monitoring project schedules and reporting.
• Maximizing project profitability and addressing potential issues.
• Providing technical expertise and mentoring team members.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience leading building commissions.
• Mentoring and leading graduate engineers.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead multiple projects or a large project.
• Experience managing client relationships.
• High-level advisory capability.
• A track record of delivering complex projects or services.
• Supervisory experience with qualified staff.
• A strong professional network and desire to build internal connections.
