The role

The Technical Implementation Manager will be skilfully managing and effectively communicating through planning processes, technical integrations with partners, user acceptance testing and system rollout.

As a Technical Implementation Manager, you will be working in partnership with the Sales, Operations and Technology departments providing oversight, governance and control for client implementations. This role is responsible for the successful onboarding of Proximity's enterprise customers, as well as ensuring the customer has developed a solid understanding of the company platform and offerings and its application to the customer's environments.

Responsibilities

  • Being responsible for the transition of the solution from sales to implementation.
  • Managing customer expectations surrounding delivery timescales.
  • Reporting on project communication updates, adhering to strict timelines.
  • Reviewing customer requirements (where applicable) and ensuring the customer has all relevant up to date user details.
  • Ensuring implementation meets project standards and targets are being met.
  • Ensuring there is support provided throughout solution onboarding.
  • Attending internal implementation status report calls.
  • Consulting with clients to help them implement/optimise their configuration.
  • Providing guidance on any technical implementation issues/challenges related to the solution being implemented.
  • Providing guidance and direction to the customers when needed; supporting them on product use, functionality or long-term goals.
  • Supporting customers by acting as their point of contact between internal teams for transitions and initiatives.
  • Serving as an enterprise subject matter expert and primary point of contact for technical and product questions through configuration and implementation.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects and/or project management certifications preferred.
  • Deep understanding of proxy voting, asset servicing, custodian banking, with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience implementing scalable and repeatable business processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships with internal and client senior management.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients.
  • Well organized with the ability to manage several priorities with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent creative, analytical and computer skills with an entrepreneurial approach to large, complex projects, and the ability to execute autonomously.
  • Enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity and complex environment, troubleshooting time-critical issues and working with people.
