We're Hiring: Technical Business Analyst Network Security & Infrastructure Contract
Day Rate - £500-£550 INSIDE OF IR35
Are you an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a passion for bridging the gap between business and IT in high-impact, security-focused projects? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team and drive the success of network connectivity, resilience, and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on business analysis efforts across network transformation, test uplift, and resilience planning.
- Gather, define, and manage business and technical requirements across cross-functional teams.
- Conduct risk assessments for network infrastructure and help shape effective mitigation strategies.
- Create clear, comprehensive documentation including user stories, test cases, and security requirements.
- Liaise between business, technical, and project teams to ensure alignment and solution clarity.
- Support yearly planning, business case development, and in-flight project delivery.
- Communicate project updates and key decisions to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Assist in testing phases such as UAT and security testing to validate solutions against requirements.
- Facilitate change management and user adoption for new security implementations.
- Provide training and support on network security systems and protocols as needed.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years in a Business Analyst role, ideally within IT, security, cloud, or infrastructure environments.
- Financial services or banking sector experience is highly desirable
- Exposure to security tools and processes: firewalls, IDS/IPS, access controls, and testing.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, with strong project delivery acumen.
- A sharp eye for detail and a structured approach to documentation and communication.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to translate technical topics for diverse audiences.
