Job Description
Tech Lead (Angular Front End, Node.js services on AWS Lambda) - Dublin/remote - 6-12 months
Own the technical vision and execution across the full stack-Angular Front End, Node.js services on AWS Lambda, and integrations/APIs-ensuring scalable architectures, high-quality delivery, and strong stakeholder alignment. You'll lead squads (onshore/offshore), set engineering standards, and drive continuous improvement in reliability, security, performance, and developer productivity. (Front End Angular with API Gateway - Lambda (Node.js) patterns are common in our landscapes; familiarity with DynamoDB/SQS and event-driven workflows is expected.)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Set coding standards: TypeScript for Node.js/Angular, modular designs, testing strategy (unit/integration/e2e), and secure coding practices.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with gated deployments, feature flags, staged rollouts (weighted aliases) for Lambdas, and automated quality checks
- Instrument telemetry and SLOs; define dashboards and alarms for client-visible journeys.
- Translate business requirements into technical epics and architecture runways; maintain living solution blueprints and interface contracts.
- Lead design reviews and demo increments to client stakeholders; communicate risks, mitigations, and trade-offs clearly.
- Prepare and present executive status, architecture decisions, and KPI progress in governance forums.
- Plan and lead iterative delivery (Agile/Scrum or Kanban), sequencing Front End and serverless backlog items to minimize integration risks; unblock teams and ensure high-quality increments.
- Own non-functional requirements (NFRs) and drive performance budgets for UI, API latency, throughput, resiliency, and cost per transaction on serverless.
- Coordinate cross-functional work (UX, QA/Automation, SecOps/CloudOps) and ensure production readiness.
