Job Description

A Global Investment Bank is seeking a proactive and highly organised Team Secretary to join the Coverage team in London. This role is ideal for someone with strong secretarial and administrative experience, who thrives in a fast-paced financial services environment and enjoys supporting multiple stakeholders.

You will provide essential PA backup support to senior team members and dedicated PAs, while also managing a variety of office administration tasks and client-focused activities. This is a key role that ensures the smooth running of day-to-day operations and contributes to the success of our client engagement efforts.

The role is part-time and will be 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays each week) and the initial contract will be for 3 months, the daily rate for the role is up to £350 per day via an Umbrella company and the office is located in the City of London

Key Responsibilities

Office Administration

  • Provide PA backup support to Coverage team and dedicated PAs.
  • Assist with overflow administrative duties across the department.
  • General office tasks: photocopying, filing, archiving, ordering stationery, and distributing post.
  • Process expenses and invoices as required.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Maintain HR systems for holiday and absence tracking.
  • Update and manage the Client Live database.
  • Support with ad hoc duties as requested.

Client-Focused Activities

  • Arrange business travel, visas, meetings, and client lunches.
  • Assist with event planning and marketing-related entertainment functions.

Confidentiality & Compliance

This role requires a high level of discretion and professionalism. You will be entrusted with confidential information and must adhere to strict data protection and compliance policies, including Crédit Agricole CIB's internal procedures and the London Compliance Manual.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven secretarial experience, either supporting a team or individuals.
  • Strong office management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • PC literate with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
