Job Title: Team Leader (Express). Location: EXPPFS - 4013 GUNNISLAKE. Employment Type: Part time. Contract Type: Permanent. Shift Pattern: Afternoons. Hours per Week: 24. Pay Rate: £13.71 per hour. Category: Retail Hourly.

Position Summary

Our stores operate 24/7 across Supermarkets, Superstores, and Asda Express locations, offering a dynamic and fast paced environment. As a Team Leader, you'll drive the success of your area and lead a team of colleagues to deliver excellent service and ensure the smooth running of daily operations. You'll manage your section-whether replenishment, checkouts, grocery, or fresh food-ensuring shelves are stocked, standards are high, and customers are happy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of store assistants to meet daily sales and customer service targets.
• Manage section operations, including inventory, replenishment, and shelf presentation.
• Address customer and team issues promptly and resolve any operational challenges.
• Utilise store data and insights to drive decision making and continuous improvement.
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and company standards across the store.
• Support the store manager in administrative and operational duties.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills with experience in a busy retail environment.
• Capacity to coach, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
• Adaptability to work across different store formats, including Asda Express.
• Proficiency in using data and insights to inform decisions.
• Excellent communication and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing store demands.
