Team Leader£17.47 per hour 37 hours per weekMonday to Thursday 06:00am to 2:30pm Friday 06:00am to 11:30amTemporary Contract up to 12 WeeksWe're looking for an experienced Team Leader to join a busy transport and operational support team.This is a hands-on supervisory role where you'll lead drivers and crew members, coordinate daily activities, and ensure services run smoothly from the start of each shift through to the end-of-day debrief.Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of drivers and operational crew members
• Issue vehicle keys and allocate work each morning from 6:00am
• Communicate daily instructions and operational updates
• Ensure drivers and crews have the information required to complete their routes
• Carry out driver debriefs at the end of each shift
• Monitor attendance and daily staffing requirements
• Resolve operational issues as they arise
• Complete a range of office and administrative duties
• Maintain accurate records and support the wider management team

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar role
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Confidence managing and motivating operational teams
• Good IT and administrative skills
• Experience within transport, logistics, waste services or a similar operational setting would be beneficial
