Job Description

Enable Ireland provides services to over 13,000 children and adults with disabilities and their families from 43 locations in 14 counties. Covering childhood to adulthood, expert teams work with the individual and their family on a plan for each life stage. Contract Details
  • Contract Type: 12 month fixed term contract
  • Contract Hours: 28 hours per week, 0.80 WTE
  • Salary Scale: €49,597 - €60,013 pro rata per annum
  • Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days pro rata per annum
Overview of the Post

Assist the manager with the coordination and delivery of the range of outreach support services to children. Work in partnership with families to develop goals and plans, allocate staff to deliver the service, and monitor service delivery. The team lead will work with a dedicated group of children/young people in a person centered approach to meet their identified needs, provide administration support, and provide support and supervision to the allocated staff team as directed by the Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver outreach support services to children.
  • Develop goals and plans in partnership with families.
  • Allocate staff for service delivery and monitor performance.
  • Provide administration and support to the service.
  • Supervise the allocated staff team as directed.
  • Ensure provision of respite services across after school, day, evening, weekend, summer camps, and other forms of alternative respite.
Required Qualifications
  • Recognised third level qualification in health care, social care, childcare, nursing (minimum level 7 or equivalent).
  • Two years' experience working with children/young persons in home, centre, or community based settings.
  • One year's experience working with children with a range of disabilities including autism.
  • Full driver's licence.
  • Right to work in the country.
  • Registration relevant to the role.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
