Your responsibilities
  • As Team Lead Solution & Segment Development (f/m/d) you lead and develop a team of project and segment developers
  • You are responsible for acquiring, developing, and contracting large-scale energy supply and decarbonization solutions (Build Own Operate) using technologies like Combined Heat and Power (CHP), Waste-to-Energy (WTE), biomass, electrification, H2 and digitalization
  • You develop core customer segments and maintain a strong project pipeline across Europe to drive business growth
  • You manage projects from origination to final investment decision, handling complex, multi-disciplinary international customer projects
  • You support business development through strategy definition, market entry, growth activities, and go/no-go decisions
  • You create new solutions and technologies while ensuring proper knowledge management
  • You ensure the consistent application of processes, quality, methodologies, and business principles
  • You represent and manage internal and external stakeholders, including customers, ministries, and industry conventions and E.ON corporate functions
Your qualifications
  • Academic degree (e.g., Master's or PhD) in engineering, economics, or a related field
  • More than 8 years' experience in the energy sector or related fields, with a strong drive for success and high motivation
  • International work experience, leadership skill on highly diverse, multi-cutural and multi-diciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of sales, project development, strategic planning, and business development
  • Broad knowledge of energy markets, regulatory and energy technologies
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients across Europe
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
