About the role

The UK IT Operations department is committed to providing exceptional support and adding value through world class service to our customers across the UK. Acting as the initial point of contact for all IT-related issues, we ensure customer queries are managed and resolved efficiently from start to finish. Our IT Operations team engages with a diverse array of technologies and infrastructures, fostering an environment where problem-solving and collaboration are key to ensuring customer satisfaction.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on empowering others, enjoys tackling IT challenges, and is passionate about delivering world class customer support. As a Team Lead, you'll lead and mentor a team of skilled IT Engineers, helping to elevate the overall quality of our service and support. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement through process optimization and documentation. Additionally, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for customer escalations and ensure the smooth operation of daily support activities.

Who you are?

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering world class customer service and can demonstrate a strong work ethic. While the criteria below is ideal, we're eager to speak with those who share our enthusiasm for IT and customer support.

  • 2+ years of experience in a Service Desk or Desktop Support environment
  • A genuine passion for IT technologies and customer support
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen carefully and communicate instructions clearly
  • A process-oriented mindset, with the ability to improve, document, and enhance daily operations
  • A natural mentor who enjoys coaching and supporting team growth

Qualifications:

We believe that our new Team Lead Customer Support identifies with the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken
  • Good oral and written presentation skills
  • Knowledge and experience with ITIL processes.

Beneficial, but not essential:

  • Preferably, hold Certifications from i.e., ITIL, Microsoft.
  • Familiarity with the following technologies: Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Hybrid Cloud, Office 365 Administration, Cloud services, Windows server, Windows 11, Citrix, RDS, SCCM.

About the hiring process:
We evaluate applications as we receive them and will interview candidates continuously to ensure that the process runs smoothly and efficiently for both parties.

£30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience and fit for the role.
