To provide high-quality administrative and coordination support to Interface Services, ensuring effective communication, data management and operational processes across acute, community and system partner services. The post-holder will support patient flow, service delivery, and reporting requirements, acting as a key point of contact for interface-related activity.
Main duties of the jobYou will provide administrative support to the virtual ward team / Interface services.
You will work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team to ensure the effective running of the service including call handling, appointments and follow-ups, tracking of equipment, collecting data etc.
This role continues to evolve as the service develops.

Person Specification Qualifications- Education to GCSE level or Equivalent (in English and Maths)
- NVQ level 3 / Business Admin / ITQ or equivalent experience
- Significant administrative experience, ideally within the NHS or a healthcare setting.
- Experience of data handling, reporting and maintaining accurate records.
- Experience of working across multiple teams and/ or services.
- Experience of prioritising, planning and organising own tasks.
- Working with guidelines
- Experience of customer service or dealing with the public.
- Experience of IT packages - Microsoft Office
- Previous NHS experience
- High level of IT literacy (Microsoft office, data bases, electronic patient systems).
- Understanding of confidentiality, data protection and information governance.
- Knowledge of the Trust including awareness of the Trust priorities
- Knowledge of the information systems
- Understanding of performance and quality metrics
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressures
- Excellent communication skills including telephone, email and face to face
- Ability to follow processes and procedures
- High level of ability to organise and manage own time keeping schedules and deadlines
- Willing to learn/take on new roles
