Teaching Assistant/Midday Meals Supervisor - North Mundham Primary School

Fixed Term Contract from 1st September to 21st July 2027 (in first instance, may be renewed dependent on funding)

Grade 3 Point 3-4 Full Time Equivalent = £24,796.00 - £25,185.00 per annum pro rata (salary is pro rata working on 31.67 hours per week)

Working Pattern: The hours are 8.30am - 3.20pm - term time only (includes half hour unpaid lunch)

Closing Date: Friday 10th July at 9am

Interviews: Will be held week commencing 13th July 2026 (time and date to be confirmed)

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in Key Stage 1 as part of a friendly and supportive Teaching Assistant team across 3 classes.
• Provide group, individual and in class support.
• Support all areas of the curriculum under the guidance and support of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Collaborate closely with the Key Stage 1 team to meet the needs of pupils.
• Employ a positive approach to behaviour management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience of working with a therapeutic approach to trauma and with pupils with SEND is desirable.
• Experience working in a school environment with children in Key Stage 1.
• A qualification at NVQ level 2 or 3 or equivalent would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication, organisational and collaborative skills.
