Salary: TA4 Pay Scale (dependent on experience)

The Role

• Pastoral support for pupils across the school.
• Behaviour support, working closely with children to promote positive relationships and successful learning behaviours.
• Classroom cover, mainly during the afternoons, ensuring high-quality learning continues in the absence of the class teacher.
• Support for pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning.
• Close collaboration with teachers, leaders and families to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

• Has experience working with primary-aged children.
• Has strong behaviour management skills and a calm, positive approach.
• Is confident leading learning and covering classes when required.
• Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Is flexible, proactive and able to respond effectively to the changing needs of the school.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
