Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 1
Location: Wirral, Merseyside
Employment Type: Part-time, temporary
Vetro are seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join our team on the Wirral. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support pupils aged 5-11 with complex needs within a nurturing and inclusive environment. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to deliver tailored support to children with diverse learning requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing support to pupils within the classroom and during small group or one-to-one sessions.
- Collaborating with teachers to implement effective learning strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Supporting pupils with personal care and promoting independence throughout the school day.
- Contributing to a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
- A strong desire to support and enhance children's learning experiences.
- Experience or interest in working with children with special educational needs, including autism, sensory processing disorders, and severe learning difficulties.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage pupils effectively.
- High levels of commitment, resilience, and adaptability to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
