Job Description

We are looking to recruit a compassionate and experienced Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the school's Inclusion Hub. In this rewarding role, you will support pupils across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will work closely with teachers, the SENCO and wider support staff to provide targeted interventions, emotional support and personalised learning opportunities that help pupils engage positively with education. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe, structured and nurturing environment where children can develop academically, socially and emotionally.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN within a primary school setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Experience delivering interventions and providing targeted support
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • A patient, caring and adaptable approach
  • Commitment to supporting children's wellbeing and personal development
