Teaching Assistant - Secondary School
Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time Permanent

The Role- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across a range of curriculum subjects
- Working with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to reinforce learning and improve confidence
- Providing additional support for students with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and SEMH needs
- Helping students remain engaged, focused, and motivated throughout the school day
- Supporting positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with targeted interventions to improve progress in literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum areas
- Encouraging students to develop independence, resilience, and confidence in their learning
- Supporting wider pastoral care and contributing to the wellbeing of students across the school
