Axcis Education is partnering with a special school in Dawlish to recruit a passionate, proactive SEN primary teaching assistant for a Year 2 class, starting September.
Role detailsThe role is full time, Monday to Friday, 8:45 - 3:45. Daily rate £92 - £95.
About the role- Start date: September
- Setting: Year 2 class - 8 pupils, most pre verbal or non verbal
- Support team: 1 teacher and 3 established TAs
- Focus: support a new pupil joining the class
- Class environment: lively, noisy - requires confidence, calm under pressure, proactive from day one
- Proactive and hands on in the classroom
- Comfortable working in a busy, noisy environment
- Experienced or keen to support pupils with complex communication needs
- Strong team player able to build positive relationships with staff and pupils
- Committed to providing high quality, inclusive education for children with SEND
