Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are working with a supportive and well established secondary school who are seeking a passionate and reliable Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a school environment and enjoys helping young people reach their full potential.

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students across KS3 & KS4, both in class and in small groups
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, planning, and classroom activities
• Provide tailored support for students with additional learning needs
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Experience working with children or young people (school or youth settings)
• Confidence managing behaviour in a secondary school environment
• A calm, supportive, and proactive approach
• A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A dedicated consultant who supports you throughout your placement
