Job Description

JOB TITLE - Teaching Assistant

ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a warm and supportive Primary School based in Keynsham. The school promotes a collaborative environment and offers ongoing professional development throughout the year. Depending on performance, the school may look to extend the contract or offer a permanent position.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS
  • Location: Keynsham
  • Position: Teaching Assistant
  • Full-Time: Monday to Friday
  • Day Rate: £90 - £110
  • Hours: 8:20 am - 3:30 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Professional childcare experience - Mandatory
  • Experience supporting children in a school setting is desirable
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year (or willingness to complete)
  • Experience or interest in working with children with SEN, including:
    • Autism
    • Speech & Language Needs
  • Strong command of English
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an Enhanced Child Barred List DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one
  • Provide 24 months of professional references, including child-related experience
