Teaching Assistant - Sports Background

Birmingham

£92.56 - £105 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

This centre is part of a multi site specialist provision supporting pupils with autism. The setting offers a supportive, nurturing environment with small class sizes and a strong focus on engagement and wellbeing. This role is ideal for candidates with a sports background, using physical activity to motivate pupils, support behaviour and promote positive outcomes in the classroom.

Requirements
  • A background in sports, coaching or physical education
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND/SEMH
  • Strong behaviour management and engagement skills
  • An ability to work as part of a supportive team
