Job Description
Position

TEACHING ASSISTANT / SEND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Salary: Grade 5 SCP 7-9, FTE £26,403 - £27,254 p.a. Actual Pro Rata Salary £20,038.19 - £20,684.05 p.a.

Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Start and finish times to be discussed at interview.

Contract: Term Time plus - 38 weeks per year plus 5 inset days (39 Weeks), Permanent.

Responsible to: SENDCo - Deputy Headteacher.

Start Date: September 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality administrative support to the SENDCo and wider school team.
  • Liaise with staff, parents and external agencies to gather and share information and relevant documents.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of individual support plans.
  • Support practical, academic and pastoral activities for all students.
  • Promote positive behaviour and pupil progress.
