Hays Education is partnering with a high performing secondary school in Manchester to recruit a Teaching Assistant to start at Easter and continue through the summer term.

The school has a strong focus on inclusion, pupil wellbeing, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, in and out of the classroom
• Work closely with teachers to support learning and engagement
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Support pupils with additional needs where required
• Work across all areas of the school, with the option to specialise

Qualifications and experience

• Previous experience working with young people (school based experience desirable)
• Calm, patient and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Genuine passion for supporting secondary age learners
