We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Ellesmere Port area from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development and who want to make a positive impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
• Assist children with their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.
• Prepare classroom resources and assist with administrative tasks.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, or care setting.
• A caring, patient, and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
