We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join our successful Travel & Tourism team.
Applications from new entrants to the profession are welcome, as well as from experienced teachers.
Our well-established Travel & Tourism department delivers NCFE Level 3 Certificate and Diploma programmes, alongside a Level 2 Certificate within our progression year curriculum.
The department has an outstanding reputation for high-quality teaching, consistently achieving results well above national averages. Recognised by the awarding body as a centre of best practice, the team regularly supports other colleges across the North in delivering excellence.
Based in the coastal town of Scarborough, our location provides outstanding opportunities to enrich the curriculum through strong employer partnerships, local tourism businesses and industry engagement. Grade & Salary RangeThe successful candidate will be appointed to the National Pay Scales for Teachers in Sixth Form Colleges, within the range £31,568 p.a. to £48,783 p.a. dependent on experience.
Main Terms & ConditionsThe contract will be on a permanent basis, either part, or full-time and commencing as soon as the successful candidate is available following recruitment and safeguarding checks.
You will be required, as part of the terms of your appointment, to attain an appropriate teaching qualification in a specified timescale, if you are not already appropriately qualified.
