Job Description

Role: Teacher of Spanish Age-Range Taught:
Contract: Part time (0.5 FTE) or full time, fixed term until 31/08/2027 Start Date: September 2026

The Spanish lesson allocation equates to 0.5 FTE, teaching Spanish up to GCSE in Key Stage 4. For anyone wishing to work full time, the ability to teach a second subject to GCSE level is required.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Spanish to students aged up to GCSE in Key Stage 4.
  • For full time positions, also teach a second subject up to GCSE level.
  • Drive strong pupil engagement, progress and examination outcomes in the subjects.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Well qualified, experienced and caring Teacher of Spanish.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a proven track record of driving strong pupil engagement, progress and examination outcomes.
  • Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome.
