Teacher of Sociology Thomas Rotherham College

Working hours: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week or part-time

Contract remuneration: Contracts at TRC are remunerated under the terms of the STPCD.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment to students in the A level Sociology department. This includes designing and delivering lessons that achieve the curriculum objectives, assessing student performance, and maintaining student progress records. The role may also involve teaching the WJEC Applied Diploma in Criminology, if the applicant has the relevant skills and states this in the application.

Qualifications

Appointed position requires a qualified teacher with appropriate teaching qualifications in Sociology and experience delivering A level courses. Candidates should demonstrate subject expertise and the ability to plan lessons that cater for diverse learning needs. Experience with the WJEC Applied Diploma in Criminology is advantageous.
