Salary: MPS - UPS (£32,916 - £51,048)

Term of contract: Permanent

Hours per week: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week

Start date: September 2026

Closing date: 22 June 2026

About the role

St. Cuthbert's Roman Catholic High School are currently seeking a Teacher of PE (Girls). This is an exciting opportunity to join the school at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi academy trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality PE teaching across the relevant key stages, supporting pupils in developing their physical education skills. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing and tracking pupil progress, and maintaining high expectations of achievement and behaviour.

The post holder will fulfil the professional duties of a School Teacher as set out in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document, contribute positively to the Catholic life and mission of the school, and support pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.

Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), alongside more experienced practitioners, are welcomed.
