Role Overview

Teacher of Media - Full Time (could consider 0.8 FTE)

Required start date: September 2026 (or January 2027).

Location: Barton Seagrave, Kettering NN15 6SW, UK.

Contract type: Permanent.

Salary: Full Time - could consider 0.8 FTE.

Closing date: 17 June 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teach Media across KS4 and KS5.
• Deliver BTEC Media courses where experience exists.
• Provide instruction in a second subject (KS3 Computing, KS4 IT or PSHE) as required for a full time candidate.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
• Safeguard and support the welfare of all pupils, adhering to DBS disclosure requirements.
• Participate in school community events and professional development programmes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified teacher with experience in Media education.
• Experience teaching at KS4 and KS5 levels.
• Knowledge of BTEC curriculum (preferred).
• Capability to also teach secondary subjects (e.g., Computing, IT, PSHE) if employed full time.
